Blue Herons nest high in the trees by Cache Creek

Blue Heron bearly seen in the trees along Cache Creek, which borders the Anderson Marsh State Historic Park. Wildlife nature walks are conducted there monthly.

The tule beds are home to the Marsh Wren. One can barely be seen in the foreground. Wish I would have had a recorder to record the sounds. The tule is alive with the nesting birds.
The Preserve is filled with the Western Grebe and Clark's Grebe.
Cormorants perch high in the leafless branch of a tree. Pelicans also come here to breed.
