TOXIC PLANTS

You may believe your Iguana knows what it can and can not eat, but I assure that is not true. If it is green they will eat it. If it is red they will eat it. And on and on. This believe can be fatal.

If you are going to place plants in the Iguanas cage or enviroment, you need to assure that they are not toxic to your Iguana.

This is a list of edible ornamental plants, partcia lorwhole that can be placed in the cage or feed to your Iguana. Make sure they have not been chemically treated in any way.

Toxic chemicals on or in plants are passed to an animal in one to two days by ingestion of plant material or by superficial physical contact with a plant. Some plants are completey toxic, others are only partial toxic, such as the leaves, stems or flowers.

REMEMBER THE IGUANA IS NOT IN ITS NATURAL HABITAT. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THAT. AFTER ALL HE IS NOW TOTALLY RELIABLE ON YOU.
