I started out first listening to
Rush Limbaugh on
KNBR 680AM about 5 years ago, and
have listened on a regular basis ever since. In spite of what a lot of
liberals in the mainstream media, and inside the beltway, say, I have
never ever heard Rush say anything racist, sexist, or "homophobic".
Every time he is accused of such, it is apparent that his statements
are being taken out of context (usually from an instance where he is
either quoting from some liberal politition or leftist reporter) to
point out the hypocracy of the left, or from a parody. Also, an awful
lot of the criticism of Rush, from groups such as "F.A.I.R.", are
attacking what are clearly Rush's opinions, as if he were stating a
fact, and using that to try to show that Rush is inaccurate. Fat
Chance! Which leads me to another subject. It's also interesting that
whenever any comedian tries to do jokes about Rush, the only thing they
have to use is his size. An example of this is the parodies that have
been done on Saturday Night Live by that pathetic looser, Al Frankin.
They never can use anything he has said or done, just his size. The
thing that's funny (not "funny ha-ha" but "funny - yeah, right") is
that if a conservative ever says anything about someone being overweight,
they are being insensitive or not "Politically Correct".
Anyway, here is another web site dedicated to Rush:
Rush to the Right Side
Another national talk show host I like is
Ken Hamblin, the Black Avenger
.
Also, Mike Reagan.
