As viewed from SR1326 in New Britton, North Carolina. In his will witnessed Oct 30, 1871, Silas Inman left his personal estate to William A. Inman and that out of this property; William should care for his mother and sister Nicy Ann for the remainder of their lives. William A. Inman donated the land for the cemetery. For these reasons, it is believed that Silas, Nercerty (his wife) and Nicy Ann are buried here in unmarked graves. There are five such graves located in the cemetery with two of them side by side. These could very well be Silas and Nercerty's grave. In 1993, a new access road was cut and the entrance pictured above was erected by donations of land and money from relatives of those buried here. Additional land was also donated to increase the size of the cemetery. Administration of the cemetery was given over to New Britton Baptist Church
