Philip Gortner married  Catherine Gatelock (could be Guttelach)and I have been told that they have 3 daughters. There may have more children but as of yet I have not found any reference to them.
Catherine Gortner born in Maryland about 16 July 1798.
    The first know child of Philip and Catherine was Catherine married Jacob Mallow in Botetourt Co. Virginia 10 June 1808. Catherine died in Washington county Missouri 8 April 1864.
    The second daughter of Philip and Catherine was Elizabeth who was born about 1796 in Virginia. Elizabeth was married to Andrew Stuart Dickey about 1 October 1818 in Botetourt County Virginia. Elizabeth and Andrew Dickey came to Washington County Missouri by way of Tennessee about 1828 and settled in the township of Harmony, Washington County Missouri.
    The third daughter of Philip and Catherine was Charlotte born about October 1797 in Rockingham County Virginia. Charlotte married Michael Mallow Junior. Brother to Jacob Mallow. They were married 12 March 1816 in Rockingham County Virginia. Charlotte and Michael moved to Texas and 10th of May 1863 Charlotte passed on in Collins County Texas.
