I am expecting our 5th baby. I changed horses in the middle of the stream, so to speak, with my first baby, and decided to have a home birth at 6mo gestation. My second daughter was delivered at home. My third daughter was delivered at home and under w ter,(unplanned but it felt great). My son was a planned home birth but due to complications in my 9th month I had to deliver in a hospital. This baby I am planning to have in the hospital because of my high-risk pregnancy. I am still wanting to have ma be one more child in about 5- 7 years from now and reading others stories encourage me to go back to home birth, if it is all possible. Also, all of my friends know that I am a big home birth advocate and are constantly asking for referrals so I like to p on all the latest, "Home Birth News". Thanks for sharing your story.

no kidding! With my first, my MIL wouldn't even sit w. me in the mall when I had to feed the wee-one. Finally, she has been enlightened! It only took 4 children for her to understand. She's not the only one though, even my best friend gets antsy. She thinks of the breast as a sexual object, not food. It's a shame society has so perverted what God intended. If i have another child i would like to be in a home setting, so my other 3 boys and 15 year old daughter could experience the wonder of birth and love. I think that it's amazing that you went through so much!!! I admire you very much. I'm only 17, and I LOVE watching Blue's Clues and Rugrats on Nickelodeon. I really like Noah's page!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Tigger!!! I admire the fact your oldest works so ha d on the piano. I've always wanted to learn, but as a military child, also, we never really got to stay in one place long enough to learn. So, I took up the flute. I love it, I play it when I'm sad. I'm in my senior year of high school, and I, too, was in a car accident... October 12th of this year. I've missed too many days of school, and I'd rather stay home to learn because I never know when my back or shoulder decides not to work. I only have 4 days left for being sick this year, and I don't know how t approach my mom about homeschooling. I also have a baby horse who is 6 months old. With school, and work I don't have much time to spend with her. If I homeschooled, I'd have much more time to do things, and I'd be able to do them at my own pace. But wit my dad being a retired marine, he isn't home often because of his new job, and everything is usually up to him. I LOVE your page, I think it's really cool!!! And Halle has the most beautiful blue eyes!! They are more beautiful than my boyfriend's!!! Well I have to go. Love your homepage, and good luck in the future!! I was reading your web site on "Coping with Pregnancy Loss" and found the most wonderful poem entitled 'Just Those Few Weeks'. Today is the 1-year anniversary of losing our baby at 8 weeks, almost the exact hour, too. Like you, the pain was immense. Thank you for helping to express in words what we felt in our hearts!

I love your intro. about staying home! You're right our families do need us home and available to them. I had to work for a while and be a mother of two little one's. Something or someone always gets sacrificed (usally the kids). I am now able to stay hom and still feel pressured from friends on when I will return to work. I am with you. Reguardless of how crazy and frustrating our days can be, I love being there to experience my boys' firsts. I have no desire to trade it and wished more parents felt like us. Very inspirational site!! I also suffered a miscarriage early in the 1st trimester after the birth of my first child, and the poem mirrors what I felt. This site was eye opening to me. I have a 1 year old son named, Noah Reese, and I have been interested in why people decide to home school their children. I live in a small mountain valley where a lot of home schooling goes on. I'm a stay at home mom b t I also coach gymnastics on Friday evenings and over half the gymnasts that come to this gymnastics club are from home schooled families and I must say they are the most mature, well adjusted, well mannered children I've ever know. I'm beginning to thin this should be what I do with my Noah. I think we would enjoy the flexibility that home schooling allows too.
