Andrew was the youngest son of Peter. He married Elizabeth Price in 1760 and remained in Washington Co., Md. for the rest of his life. Andrew was a Revolutionary War Patriot, having a marker placed next to his grave, in Cearfoss, Md., 1969. He was an extensive land owner in Washington Co. The Washington Co. land index carries over 400 records under the names of many of the Rench families. Upon his death, he willed that land be set aside for the building of a church, now called the Salem Reformed Church, in Cearfoss, Maryland where is and Elizabeth are buried. |
