Yes, my friends, this is one of my weaknesses. I am a pro-wrestling fan. I began watching pro-wrestling back in the early '80s while channel-surfing one day. I came to a channel where a man was threatening to rip someone's leg off and beat them to death with it. I thought, "Wow, this is quality entertainment!", and a wrestling fan was created!
I was priviledged to witness the creation of wrestling's "Four Horsemen", see the famous "I Quit" match between Magnum TA and Tully Blanchard, and the recent retirement of the Enforcer, Arn Anderson.
Yes, I know it's a "pre-determined outcome" sport, but it sure is fun to watch. Those guys have to be in great shape to take the bumps they do, and do it every week, multiple times per week.
Anyway, here's my favorite wrestling web sites, in no particular order. Please remember that I don't necessarily endorse the viewpoints of the individual web authors, but provide their links for entertainment purposes.
A tribute page to wrestling's premier announcer, Gordon Solie. Also has a great wrestling newsletter, put out a couple of times a week. Here's the link for the newsletter page.
A great daily wrestling news site. Mike has information that others don't get (unless they get it from him!)
News from Dayton (Daily Updates)
Great daily wrestling news site, usually updated every couple of days.
One of the best wrestling news sites around. Other great information, too.
My own brief Arn Anderson tribute
A small, brief tribute to my favorite wrestler, Arn Anderson.
DDT Digest is named for the finishing move of the greatest all-around worker in wrestling history, Arn Anderson. Bill also has a great Arn Anderson tribute page. We're going to miss ya, Arn.
World Championship Wrestling Home Page, the premier wrestling organization (imho).
Great daily wrestling e-mail newsletter, sign up at the site.
