MATING EXPECTATION TABLES

There is no need to have individual tables for each colour or variety as found on some web sites.
It is an unnecessary use of disk space and code writing time.

A basic set of tables is all that is required for most matings. Specialist tables are required when multiple alleles are paired together or in some cases when two different modes of inheritance are used which produce a completely different phenotype.

Where more complex matings are done involving a number of different colours or varieties, each can be done separately using the appropriate table. It is then possible with the results to see that a variety of combinations will be visually possible on one bird.
