The Trip Continues

Day 7 and we are driving to Bryce Canyon. We are to see the amphitheater of "Hoodoos"





The ancient indians tell wonderful stories of the origin of these amazing stone formations.

Then we travel to Zion National Park passing through the one mile tunnel which takes us under the rock face canyon exposing its spectacular cliffs.




After a delightful dinner and breakfast at the hotel near Zion we travel through Southern Utah heading to Las Vegas. Even this part of the trip was scenic and we arrived at the Las Vegas Hilton in the early afternoon. On the way we dropped off those of us that were flying out that day at the airport. Our rooms at the Hilton offered an amazing view of the town. We changed and a few of us left for a tour of the town.



That evening after seeing the pirates sink the navy at the Treasure Island hotel we had a buffet dinner at one of the hotels and then headed for the old part of town. Here they covered the street with a mesh covering and used it for a light show.





The next morning we awoke and headed for the airport and took off for a pleasant trip home. We had such a good time and enjoyed our trip with Trafalgar and their personnel so much that we are looking forward to a trip with them again this year. Click here to return to"The Schaeffers"
