An upcoming move necessitates the sale of most of my doll collection. I have dolls that
range from 20s composition to 40s-50s hard plastic to 70s-80s-90s vinyl to artist originals
and porcelain reproductions; also very desirable doll reference books. Personal checks are
fine, but will delay shipping doll for 10 business days from receipt of check to allow check
to clear bank. Immediate shipping if you send cashier's check or money order. Free shipping
(UPS ground) on purchases over $300 Will insure for full value. If you want UPS 2nd-day air
shipping, the added cost is your responsibility. Five-day return privilege; you must call or
e-mail me to let me know you are returning your purchase. Returns must be insured and sent
via UPS ground. Layaways can be arranged. All dolls listed subject to prior sale.

costume has peach jersey knit shoulders and long sleeves; yoke to hem is burgundy velvet;

happens with the MA metallic skates, the gold overlay is starting to flake and peel away
from the under-boot material. The blade is missing from one skate. Otherwise a very, very
nice doll; very hard to find. $425. reduced from $575 (less 20% thru 5/31)

Mary Hoyer 20% off on Hoyer dolls thru 5/31.
Check with me for details; list in progress. All dolls are excellent to near mint.
All are 14” hard plastic, unless otherwise noted. A few have tagged Hoyer outfits.
Most are dressed in garments knit, crocheted, or sewn from Hoyer patterns; these are
considered original in that they were made in the 40s-50s for original owners. Some
are marked "Made in U.S.A." inside a circle on back; others marked "Original Mary Hoyer
Doll" inside a circle on back; some have blank circles. Any of these are authentic
markings. Most have saran wigs.
I do not have any 18” Hoyer “Gigi” dolls.
1. Hard plastic walker (Circle/”Made in U.S.A.”) in trunk with extra clothes.
No tagged clothes; two gowns, crocheted bareback rider outfit (teal w/ white); several
sewn and crocheted outfits, from the ‘50s; extra footwear. Doll has brunette braids,
tied with original mint green ribbons, pretty coloring. Trunk is 50s red metal.
Doll excellent, outfits nice but nothing special. $425.
2. Beautiful marked mint brunette saran wig, bangs, original set, orig. hair clips;
blue eyes, eye shadow; in original white “shoebox.” Box, says “The Mary Hoyer Doll” in
gold script on ends (box fair). This is a very rare box, but is pretty beat up. Includes
four outfits: 3-pc. crocheted beach outfit, 3-pc. knit and crocheted ski outfit; sewn
shirt, vest & trousers; sewn floral robe ... all from Mary Hoyer patterns of the 50s
(none tagged). Orig. MH shoes in fair-to-good condition (shoe excellent, but one strap
broken). $395.
3. Brunette, blue-green eyes. Marked The Original Mary Hoyer Doll. Personally
dressed in late 1980s by Mary Hoyer herself. She wears a tagged gown of petal pink
taffeta (floor length, full skirt). The skirt of the gown is overlaid with white lace;
the bodice is overlaid with tulle. There is lace trim at the neckline and at the sleeve
cuffs (long sleeves). She wears a pink half-slip and white panties. ). I believe the
panties were commercially made and purchased for the doll, not made by Mrs. Hoyer. Her
original M.H. leatherette shoes are white, with straps that criss-cross and snap in the
middle. I’m not sure what the wig fibre is, softer than Saran, nicely curled and her wig
is a little longer than is typical. I think probably she is one of the later hard plastic
Hoyer dolls ... before they discontinued the hard plastic and offered vinyl dolls.
The doll has lovely rosy cheek color, with dark red lips.
$425. reduced from $495.
4. Brunette marked The Original Mary Hoyer Doll. She is wearing the Southern Belle
gown (sewn from a Mary Hoyer pattern) in mint green with a deep dotted Swiss ruffle at
the hem ... about four inches deep, in an ecru shade. Short sleeves and neckline are
trimmed with the same dotted Swiss. She has no undies, no underslip. She comes with
a wide-brimmed straw hat. The outer row of straw needs to be resewn. I don’t have a
sewing machine. It is an easy repair ... not uncommon for 50-year old thread to give
up the ghost (so to speak). She has replacement shoes and they are too big for her.
$375.
5. Bright red hair, saran, curly “do.” Blue eyes. Light cheek color. Not currently
dressed, but will sell dressed in outfit knit or crocheted from Hoyer pattern.
Marked “Made in U.S.A.”/Circle. $225.
6. Golden blonde braids, blue eyes, marked “The Original Mary Hoyer Doll.”
Non-walker and she is the only doll marked as a Hoyer that I have seen with braids.
The elastic holding her braids has broken (but I can replace it) and there are no ribbons
on her braids. She is currently wearing a red crocheted ice skating costume trimmed with
white angora. Outfit includes matching red crocheted panties and a red crocheted hat
trimmed with white angora; has a chin strap. She is very cute. Facial coloring a little
on the light side, but still nice. She wears red vinyl Mary Jane shoes (shiny like red
patent leather), no socks. These are replacements, not original shoes.
$325. reduced from $375.
Ideal “Toni”
1. Early P-90 prototype, long blonde mohair wig, softly curled bangs. Pleasing
cheek and lip color, painted lower lashes a big light, but still nice; eyebrows barely
visible. Very pretty face. Nude, but with repl. shoes/socks and panties.
$105.
2. P-90 golden blonde nylon wig, bangs; long hair to waist. Doll has exceptional
facial features ... very bright and well-defined. Original blue chambray sundress with
attached half-slip, matching bolero jacket. Jacket and skirt of dress trimmed with
embroidered floral braid. Outfit not tagged; no evidence of tag removal, guaranteed
original. Left sleeve of jacket has gray marks on it. Replaced panties, shoes.
Socks are probably replacements, but are the typical rayon socks of the period.
$210.
4. P-90 almost-platinum blonde, center-part wig. Curlable bangs held back with
sage green bows. Wig is shorter than some, but doesn’t appear cut. About a half-inch
shy of her waist. This one, too, has exceptional facial features, with very nice,
bright cheeks and lips Redressed. $195.
6. P-91 platinum blonde, bright, well-defined features; nice high color. Doll is
in excellent condition, wig would benefit from re-styling. Hair is long, to below waist,
center-part. Wearing original Toni dress; hot pink, trimmed with lt. blue-embroidered
white organdy overlay at bodice and upper half of skirt; attached white half-slip.
No tag, but original. Panties replaced. Replaced shoes, socks. Dress good, some
fading, small tear has been neatly mended. $265.
7. P92: Very long, hip-length black wig, bangs; blotchy cheeks; nude. Quite nice,
certainly not mint, but in over-all nice condition and a really excellent buy at this price.
A bit of carefully applied blush would improve her cheeks or spend a small amount to have
her cheeks professionally air-brushed. $225.
