I am looking for a western doll that was made in the late 60's, early 70's who rode plastic horses. I think her name was Jane and she was plastic with molded on chaps, short plastic hair(?blond) and bent perfectly at the knees to accomodate any horse. I think she was sold by Sears. I am looking for the older Vogue Brikette dolls made in 1959 and the early 60's. They came in the 16" and 22" size with red, platinum and brunette shoulder length hair. I hope someday to find the Ideal dolls Bridal Party from around 1947. I have catalog pages from a Montgomery Ward Cat. of that year which shows the dolls. There is a bride, bridesmaid and flower girl. These dolls never seem to show up on anyone's list or at shows. Perhaps you have seen them somewhere.

I am starting a collection and am interested in dolls of movie characters (Ex. Gone with the Wind, Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Carol). So far, the only dolls I have in this theme are Madame Alexander (I love Madame Alexander) but I am willing to purchase any type of doll as long as it's a character from a movie that I like.
