For Valentine’s Day
I don't need candy,
You are my sweet.
I don't need Champagne,
Your kiss is like wine.
I don't need roses,
You are my flower.
I don't need diamonds,
You're a priceless gem.
I don't need gold around my neck,
To be wrapped tightly, in your arms.
I don't need you to be present,
To know you are here with me.
If you must give me anything,
This Valentine's Day,
Gift wrap your love,
And send it to my heart.
That's all I've ever wanted,
From the beginning,
From the very start...
As you close your eyes
and gently drift into a gentle sleep
I wish this dream to you
I wish you golden beaches
with palm trees and a gentle cool breeze
all touched by the warmth of the sun
I wish you waterfalls
with gentle ice-cold water cascading
into a mountain fresh stream
I wish you a field of flowers
with you and I laying together
among their wonderful scents and colors
I wish you a gentle hand
to stroke your brow as you sleep
and give you comfort throughout the night
Sleep well and dream of me
as I will dream of you
Have I told you lately that I love you? Or how much I care? I love you more today then yesterday, but only half as much as tomarrow. If you could but look into my eyes, you could see deep within my soul. Your the one I want to spend time and eternity with, to waltz through life with. You complete me. You've touched places within me I ever knew existed. Our minds shall always work as one, as you are my true Soulmate. My love for you is unconditional, given freely without reservations. It knows no boundries. You are the air that I breath...my reason for living...for laughing...and for crying.
