Tana

Our "Crazy" Tana!

It has taken me a month to be able to tell the world I had to let Tana go on to the Rainbow Bridge to wait for me. I just didn't know how hard it would be to let her go. Tana lived her whole life trying to please everyone. Her mother, Casey , already owned me, so, Tana always played second fiddle and never showed if she minded that position.

I do know that she took a huge piece of my heart with her and I didn't realize she had such a hold.

Tana woke up in a new world every single day of her entire life. There were many things that surprised her but she was not really afraid. She just had to have time to rediscover what might have changed position since the last time she was there. She answered to "Crazy" just as well as "Tana".

Even though Tana could heel with the best of them, she was not comfortable at dog shows. After she finished her CD with 2 first places and 1 second place, I decided to let her rest on her laurels and not push her beyond that.

Rayjean's Casey Pride was bred only one time and it happened to be on Super Bowl Sunday 1989. I am a huge 49er (and Joe Montana) fan and at the time Joe was going full steam. And since at that time I expected to do great things with this wonderful pup, her name was created...Sharitz Super Sunday Pride, aka "Tana".

Tana, I miss you
