Sam's Gift
Tuffy was Samantha's only pup and we hand raised her.
When she was barely 2 weeks old I was giving her a feeding about 2 a.m. when she
aspirated some of the milk and she started choking. I just knew I was going to loose her.
I woke my husband and called
our vet. She started giving me instructions which I was passing on to my husband. She
told us for him to hold her cupped in his hands and sling her in an effort to clear the
fluid out. Well, much to our horror, she slipped from his hands and smashed into the wall.
We just knew he had killed her. But she was a very "Tuff" little girl and in spite of
our bumbling she survived.
Her name had to be Tuffy. She is now an AKC champion...CH Sitz's Samantha's Gift.
Tuffy is Trouble's mom.
