"Faith, Hope, Love.."
"But the greatest of these is love."

LOVE

1 Cor. 13:1-4, 6, 8, 13. NIV
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.  If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

The apostle John tells us:
"God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."  John 3.16. NKJV.

We see form this verse, the Love of God, he gave the most precious thing (Jesus Christ) that he had, he owned the whole world, but any other gift would not have been the ultimate sacrifice.

Jesus Christ gave His life on the Cross that we could be set free from the bondage of sin.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23 KJV.

LOVE is the greater than Faith or Hope; some day we will see what we have believed for and will have
what we hoped for. At that time there will be love forevermore.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 KJV.

See John 3:16.

The two greatest commandments are: love God and one another.

"God is Love"
