1997 Newsletter

"Your family is one of the natural wonders of the world!" - This message was in a fortune cookie that Florence Herrup opened at the Dumpling House on Murray Ave. Still don't believe in fortune cookies? Two weeks before her 50th wedding anniversary, Flo opened another Dumpling House fortune cookie and the message read, "You are doomed to be happy in marriage." O.K. - I believe, I believe!

Well cousins, thanks to all of us for keeping the family together. We are so lucky that Shmiel Barish and Nachamka began our family tree. We are so lucky that they had the foresight to send their children to America. We are so lucky to have each other.

See you all on Friday evening, November 28, 1997 at the next cousins' party.
