Hawk Valley loft won not only first but also second in the Northeast Federation National Young Bird 250 mile Race


This is the biggest race ever flew in the U.S. The race was flown in October 15, 1995. 6,356 birds competed from 3 States, 5 Combines, 42 Clubs. The winner a blue cock flew 259 miles in 3 hours 55 minutes with a winning speed of 1941 ypm. The runner up a blue with one white flight hen arrived together with the winner.

In this YB National race, I (Jesse Wu) was 3rd in the Combine and 4th National against 6,356 birds with a light check hen, bred from a Hofken cock mated to a gr. gr. daughter of Janssen brother's "019".
