AURORA BOREALIS

Dianna Stevens has given permission for me to post one of her designs from her new book "FORGET-KNOT ALASKA TATTED JEWELRY". The earring shown was made and designed by her. This particular design is called "Aurora Borealis".
WHAT IS IT?
Northern lights. It is the most spectacular celestial display I have ever seen. On clear winter nights the lights dance with vigor and vitality across the vast Alaskan sky. The first time I saw the Aurora, it was breath taking! The Aurora filled the entire sky with such rich and striking colors. It seemed so close, I felt that I could reach out and touch it as it swept across the heavens as if alive.
