I found this site very informative - I stumbled upon it and find a very detailed history of my family! There are some corrections to be made regarding my family... Thomas Richard Laws married Oneida Mendez-Laws as his second marriage. They have two children: Amanda Elizabeth Laws b 26 December 1980 and Christopher Andrew Laws b 3 May 1985 Thomas' daughter from his first marriage is named Adrienne Elizabeth Laws and she was born 24 December 1968 and married Gregory Aurthur MacDonald they have a son Walt Samuel Laws-MacDonald who was born 3 August 1993.

She was burried in Garr son, Ia cemetery. She was born Nov. 11, 1812 and died in March 16, 1876. Jeptha was buried in Flagstone, Ill. Their children Arza b. oct14, 1832 d. Nov.13. 1910. Samuel. Cyrus b. Nov 9, 1836 d. Dec 5, 1907 burried at Ponca, Nebraska. My great grand f ther(Jeanette Noe Geiger 1803 Carmel Dr. Norfolk, Nebraska 68701. Helen insane son Andrew (All known) Benjamin b. 1842 in New Jersey Frederick died when young man we think. Cyrus married Emeline Wade on Febr. 2 1859. She was born July 21,1832 and ied May 16, 1873. Married Mary Chronister (widow)and she died in 1877. She was the sister of Uncle Sam's first wife. Also a 3rd wife and she is burried at Ponca, Nebraska. Cyrus Noe's 3rd child Frederick Milton Noe b. Oct.1. 1864 m. Emma E. Royce in 1 98.

My grandfather was Arthur SUTTON who lived with his wife Lucille (GUESS OR GASS) in Tennessee and later Illinois/Indiana area. Arthur SUTTON died in approximately 1950. Lucille died in approximately 1962. This is a great site! I'm new but will keep ch ecking. I have 3 cousins that are LDS - hopefully they will see my message.

I have as far back as my great, great grand parents, Matilda Ann Miller(8/31/1882) and Joseph Frankeberger SUTTON (7/11/1882). I go back further on the Miller and Grissinger side but not the Sutton side, which is where my interest lies. My mother is a SUTTON, daughter of Robert Lewis SUTTON and Dora Ethel Fair. We have no information on the Fair family at all, as my grandparents seperated and are now deceased. We do know that they (the SUTTON s) lived in and around Lewisbury, PA and surrounding areas in the 800's and turn of the century. It seems to be a difficult line of SUTTON s to trace. We do believe they are from England originally and not Ireland. I would love to trace the SUTTON line back as far as I can! Thank you for a beautiful site and this opportunity!

I have lot of information on the Igo's if you are interested. Daniel Igo was my great-grand uncle. I have pictures of the graveyard he is burried in at Syracuse, MO where he lived. This family is well recorded. He was born August 21, 1795 in KY and died on august 6, 1871 in Syracuse, MO. He is buried in Syracuse Cemetary. He also had six children. Daniel's father was Lewis Igou b.November 22, 1767 in Baltimore County, Maryland Colony; and died July 19, 1844 in Twin Township, Ross County, OH. His mother was Elixabeth Hare b. ABT 1773. They had five children. Lewis's father was Daniel Igou b. ABT 1735 in Baltimore County, Maryland Colony; and died ABT 1783 in Huntingdon, PA (This county was initially known as Cumberland Cty then Bedford Cty then Huntingdon). His mother was Belinday Unknown b. ABT 1745 also in altimore County, Maryland Colony; and died ABT 1796. She was previously married? They had five children. Daniel Igou's father was Lewis Igou b. Abt 1695 in France; and died ABT 1760 in Baltimore County, Maryland Colony. He also was previously married.His mother was Mary Igou b.ABT 1695 in Baltimore County, Maryland Colony; died ABT 1770 at 85 years old in Sy acuse, MO. She was previously married. They had 7 children together. Her grave marker had fallen down and is in need of repair. I have a book on this family on loan from my aunt. This book heavily documents the entire family down to me. For over 10 years, I have been trying to find the parents of Thomas SUTTON. He married Phebe Humphries in Jefferson Co., MS in 1825, where he owned a sawmill and gristmill. These are names associated with this family: Senica, John, Thomas, Stephen, George Washington, George Cecil. Family legends state that Thomas was a cousin of George Washington and was descended from an English earl.

I am currently trying to pull together information on the descendents of Thomas SUTTON (1759-1840) and Lucretia Blackman SUTTON (1765-1846). These are the SUTTONs of Suttontown, Sampson County, NC. I have a couple of books put together already by others and at this time I am trying to get it all into the computer so I can put together a web page for us. There is an annual reunion at the Goshen Methodist Church at Piney Grove, Sampson County every September for the descendents of James and Nancy Cobb SUTTON. It is the Sunday after Labor Day weekend. Just starting to trace the SUTTON roots in northern Missouri. My father was Billy G. SUTTON, grandfather Clarence O. SUTTON. Great Great grandfather fought in the Civil War for the North, spent time in Andersonville, GA as prisoner of war.

Hi. I am looking for information on the RUTTER family. The Rutter family is from Germany and they name at that time was Vaun Ruttermans, when landing Surf City N.J. in the 1690's. I'm trying to find any relatives who might have any information about John Rutter who was married to Catherine Elsworth in the late 1700. They had 9 children (Charles Rutter b. 1794, William A. Rutter b.1795 are the first two children) I'm also looking for current Rutters who might have ties to this family so I can get the family tree current and give it to my dad Lester Raymond Rutter Jr. (of West Creek N.J.) before he dies.
