Welcome to our little corner of the world. I decided to update the picture of my wife and me. Nobody really believed I looked like Tom Cruise anyway. We consider Wichita, Kansas our home base, the air capital of the world. So pull up a stool and we'll jaw awhile. If you would like to hear some music, click the center button below. However, if you are a MAC user, beware: you probably will crash.

My name is Danny Clemmer and I am an independent contractor, and I build tooling for the aircraft industry. I worked in the plants, but after 20 some odd years, I thought if I was to be laid off half the time, I might as well do it to myself. The hours are a lot better and I'm not starving. Yes, I'm over the hill, so I'm not eager to make too many changes anymore.

My better half is a retired legal secretary, a CLA actually. We were paying so darn much in taxes I wanted to try one year without her working. I'll never get her to work again! Nancy now fills her time with genealogy and helping me when necessary. We have been married for 34 years and have no children, by choice.

The primary purpose of this page will be genealogy. We use a shareware program called Family History System as our database. This is a DOS based program but we are currently running it in Windows ME. Due to increasing compatibility problems we are migrating to TMG which for all intents and purposes appears to be the cats meow.

You might ask why two people in their 50s with no children are doing this. Well, it's a lot of fun (kinda like a big detective story), and you meet some really great and interesting people. I must admit, though, some people do find it rather strange when you tell them you go out grave stomping. Look at it this way, it keeps us off the streets.

To your left is an alphabetical list of the primary names we are searching. Should they be of interest to you also, maybe we can share information. We have compiled an extensive amount of information on the Ahrendt, Clemmer and Gramke lines. By far, the Lobaugh line has probably the greatest amount of names, 10,000 tied-in and counting. Information on Ashford and Kerr remains elusive and Morris and Sutton might as well be Smith. Besides, I have a brother-in-law covering that end of it (from a different angle). You may want to visit his home page. He is just down the street.

I am trying to make it as easy as possible for people to respond. As always, we can be reached via E-Mail. In addition, two forms have been added for your use in furnishing this information. The first is an online fill-in-the-blanks and submit-type form. The second is for those who would rather send the information by regular mail or send it as an attachment to E-Mail. Just highlight the form and copy it to your word processor. Just remember to maintain it as an ASCII file (*.txt) for compatibility. Then, of course, there is always Ma Bell (316) 943-1772.

OK, so none of these names means anything to you. That doesn't mean I don't want to hear from you. I would appreciate it if you would at least sign my guestbook. If you have time, you might also view it and see if you know anybody.
