Evelyn Keys Hood

Mrs. Glay Morgan Hood Mrs. William Aaron Keys of Route 4, Limestone, today announces the marriage of her daughter Evelyn Walker, to Pvt. Glay Morgan Hood on November 14, 1941, at Clayton, GA. Mrs. Hood, now employed with the Farm security Administration in Raleigh, NC attended State Teachers College here and the Johnson City Business College. Private Hood, whose home is at Fall Branch, attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and is stationed at Lowry Field, Denver, CO. with the U.S. Army Corps.
Evelyn and her son, Joseph Morgan Hood Mrs. Glay M. Hood, 924 West Maple St., and one month old son Joseph Morgan Hood. They are the wife and son of Second Lieutenant Hood, instructor at Air intelligence School, Harrisburg, PA. Mrs. Hood is the former Evelyn Keys of Route 4, Limestone. Lieutenant Hood is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hood of Fall Branch and was employed in the laboratory of the Eastman corporation, Kingsport, before entering the army, January 19, 1942. lieutenant Hood received training at Photo School, Lowry Field, CO, had cadet training at Boca Raton, FL and Yale University, New Haven, CT. and recently finished at Intelligence School, Harrisburg, PA., where he is an instructor.
Lt. Glay Morgan Hood Evelyn's husband First Lt. Glay M. Hood has returned to his post at Air Intelligence School in Orlando, FL. after spending leave with his wife and son, Joe at Fall Branch. Lieutenant Hood, 28, joined the Army January 19, 1942, and is now photo interpretation instructor at his base. He was promoted to his present rank last Christmas Day. Mrs. Hood, the former Evelyn Keys of Limestone, and their son plan to join the officer in Florida soon. Lieutenant Hood whose is 28 yrs, old, is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. T. D. Hood of Fall Branch.
