Florine Hall Roberts
Born March 7, 1940 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late John Thomas and Virginia Maude Dowdy Hall. She was a member of Hyles Baptist Church in Richmond.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Michael Martin of Hopewell and Jeff Martin of Prince George; two daughters, Glenda Livingston and Brenda Martin both of Richmond; six brothers, Lewis Hall and Wyatt Hall both of Gladys, Clinton Hall of Long Island, Benny Hall of Madison Heights, J. T. Hall of Altavista and Garland Hall of Hurt; three sisters, Pauline Lindsey and Viola Epperson both of Gladys, Martha Dawson of Hurt; six grandchildren, Kristin Boyette, Randy Boyette, Jr., Nellie Martin, Steven Willis, Robert Willis and Christina Monk; two great grandchildren, Steven Willis, Jr., and Jacob Monk. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Percy Hall, Buford Hall and Russell Hall; two sisters, Margaret Cage and Ruby Rupert.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 1999 in Swan Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Thornton Hall and the Rev. Alfred Hartsell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Finch & Finch Funeral Home, Altavista, today from 7-8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence of Martha Dawson, 700 Spring Street, Hurt.
