Mrs. W. B. Elliott

Mrs. Kate Sandifer Elliott, widow of William Bowen Elliott died unexpectedly at her home near Gladys yesterday at 7:00 a.m. Born October 23, 1873, she was the daughter of Mr. and mrs. James Edward Sandifer.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Mrs. Inez M. Creasy and Mrs. Tom Dudley both of Gladys, and Mrs. Nolie Dowdy of Lynchburg, six sons, Early Thomas, Garland Eugene, both of Roanoke, Robert Arthur, Lewis Oran, William Ernest, Ashby Lee of Gladys, 43 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
