Lucy Clay Eades

Lucy Myrtle Clay Eades, 62, of Route 3, Nathalie, died Saturday, September 24, 1994 in Heritage Hall, Brookneal. She was the wife of Henry Stephen Eades.
Born in Halifax County, June 11, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Morton Edward and Mary Ella Oakes Clay.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Wayne Pruitt of Danville; three brothers, Morton Lee Clay and Charlie Hampton Clay both of Nathalie and Joseph Burlie Clay of Madison Heights; two sisters, Nellie Akers and Delma Elizabeth Talbott both of Lynchburg, one granddaughter, Karen Faye Debare of Danville.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Calvary Baptist Church by Rev. Ken Chapman and Rev. Sidney Wade. Burial will be in the Callahan Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. Monday at Finch and Finch Funeral Home, Altavista.
