Mrs. Richard Rice

Nathalie - Mrs. Lindia Thurman Rice, 85, widow of Richard Rice, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Frank Austin, here Monday night after an illness of two weeks.
She was born in Pittsylvania County. She was a member of Swan Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Sammy Rice of Altavista and Lacy Rice of Roanoke; three daughters, Mrs. Austin and Mrs. Frank Brizendine of Nathalie and Mrs. Simon Reynolds of Victoria; four brothers, Georgie, Leeward, Ulam and Tom Thurman, all of Gladys and a sister, Mrs. John Hall, also of Gladys.

Nathalie - Funeral services for Mrs. Lindia Thurman Rice, 85, widow of Richard Rice, will be conducted in Henderson Funeral Home in Brookneal, Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. with burial in Swan Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
