EDMUND AVERY-- DAR Lineage Book Soldier in Capt. Bracketts Co.- Col. William Douglas Reg.- Raised in 1766 to join Washington on Long Island p.14
Edward Avery's first wife was Sarah Royce,( Rice). Second wife was Anna. According to the D.A.R. Pathriot Index, Centennial Edition part 1 Anna is listed as Edmunds second spouse. My family connection is through Anna. Information verified by Grave and Monuments to Patriots of 1775-1783 and soldiers of Colonial Wars from typescript of Connecticut Society Sons of the American Revolution.

Edmund Avery,Dec. 3, born 1750, died Dec. 17, 1805(D.A.R. record), Wallingford Connecticut. Married Anna Barnes.

Edmund parents were Abner(Everett(Avered)born April 7, 1721,Guilford, New
Haven, Conn.,Abner was son of Josiah Everett and Elizabeth Cooke.
Abner died 1804 at Wallingford, Conn. and he married Eunice Hall.They were
married Dec. 5, 1744 at Wallingford, Conn.(Wallingford, New Haven Co.
Vital Records from Barbour) Eunice was born Aug. 21, 1724,
died Jan. 21, 1776 at Wallingford, Conn.


Eunice Parents were Amos Hall born Feb. 24, 1699/70. He died Nov. 30, 1752,
 Wallingford, Conn.and Ruth Royce born Sept. 1701, Wallingford,,
 Conn. Ruth died Feb. 2, 1775 Wallingford, Conn.  They were married
June 8,1720 Wallingford, Conn.She died Feb. 2, 1775 at Wallingford, Conn.

Josiah Avered or Everett, the father, removed to the town of Durham
about 1728 or 9 and in 1732 moved again to the adjoining town of
Wallingford, where he was living in 1747, when he deeded
a farm to his son Abner Avered, in consideration of love and good will to him.
