life, on the 10th day of February, 1840, at the residence of her son Benjamin Harvey,
MARY BRINTON, in the 90th year of her age. She was the daughter of Thomas
Chandler, near the line of Pennsylvania and Delaware, on Brandywine. She was
the widow of William << Harvey>> , near Chaddsford. -- Lastly, she was the widow
of Caleb Brinton, of West Chester. She lived to see her childrenchildren to fourth
generation. She was buried at the burial place of her father, at 'Centre,'on the 12th,
attended by a large number of relatives and friends. She has patience indicative of a
strong mind, to the last, grounded on a strong christian faith, and at an advanced age,
is gathered to her rest. As a mother, in Israel her example may be remembered.
