One thing about Mommy, was that although she was very talented in many fields, she never thought so. About a month and a half before she died she started taking an art class, and was very proud of her drawings. I think this is a great example of her will to live - such a sick person taking on a long term project. True, she didn't get to finish that project, but just the act of starting it was a heroic act in itself. I'm not much of an artist myself, so I can't judge them, but her teacher was very proud of Mommy's drawings.
I would like to add, that we're sorry there are no explanations or captions for the different drawings. We hope to add them eventualy, but we'd have to contact her art teacher for that. I do know though, that all of the drawings that look like meaningless scrribles are actually a series of drawings in which Mommy was learning to express her feelings of pressure - anger - stress.
