A Mother's Abode

Happy the man with a nursing child, for he has a singing
wife. - GERMAN PROVERB
Perhaps the greatest social service that can be rendered by
anybody...is to bring up a family. But...there is a very general
disposition to regard a married woman's work as no work at all, and
to take it as a matter of course that she should not be paid for it.-
GEORGE BERNARD SHAW.
Nursing remains an invaluable mothering tool to soothe
hurts, calm an overtired and wound-up child, and create an island
of safety in a sometimes unfriendly environment. - KATHLEEN RANDOLPH
My name is Mary Young. I'm glad you stopped by. Feel free to drop me a line using the form at the bottom of

I'd love to hear from you!
Please drop me a line to let me know that you were here! (But as much as would love to personally answer requests for breastfeeding information, I simply cannot due to the sheer volume of requests I was receiving from this form. I don't want any questions to go unanswered. So, if you have a specific breastfeeding related question, I would suggest that you fill
out a LLL
Breastfeeding Help Form, and a volunteer
La Leche League Leader
will answer your question. Or, you can check out the LLL
Frequently
Asked Questions about Breastfeeding pages, or look for a local
LLL Group in
your area).
