My name is Eric, I graduated in 97. I'm currently thirty years OLD, yes I'm getting pretty old but I'm sure you'll eventually forgive me for being such an old man LOL. I've worked at many different jobs such as being the head manager of a movie theatre, security guard, surveyor's assisant, owner of my own computer business etc. I currently work as an apprentice electrician. I enjoy a fast paced environment and of course, working with the kids being that they often tend to cheer me up. Making others happy and being myself is what I enjoy doing.
Computers - I've been working with computers since grade 10, I've made animations as well as programmed in basic and pascal. I've also made this home page without the use of an editor. I use to be into computer art and using it to help me make this page and to make movies with Macromedia. Now a days, I enjoy taking apart, building and repairing computer systems. My computer is my TV, stereo system, only gaming system and my main form of entertainment. As a hobby I post news items at this website 3Dnow.net
Music - I mostly listen to rock, hip hop as well as a tiny bit of country and rock. In grade 9, I started playing guitar and singing. When I first started writing songs, I didn't have a clue(just did whatever) I sounded like had a really bad cold. Later on I only make songs that had a positive message, my feelings are if the song is negative it isn't music,(it's garbage) unless it's sending a positive message. As it was I played the 12-string guitar and wrote my own songs... now I mostly work and when I pick up a guitar I only play for fun, it would be nice to get back into guitar and singing them songs infront of people like I once did.
Kids - I enjoy helping out at youth groups. In fact, I was a leader in a youth group for 3 years. Sometime back I worked as a camp counsellor for a week, it was pretty cool. My nick name was Speedy(I got that nick name from a friend that I met 10 days earier during leadership training. Speedy was also my nick name in high school cause I use to walk so fast and some still agree that I walk fast when I'm alone. Many of the kids in my cabin asked me "Why do they call you speedy?", Well they found out after I had a race with some of the counsellors to see who goes for supper first, I beat them all and showed off by running with my arms at my side the entire time; you know like Fred Flintstone. In terms of kids, I haven't been able to help out at youth groups for about 6 years now. I find it entertaining how to this very day kids come up to me to visit and how many parents like how I make their children laugh. My co-worker Lauren said she would like to see me work with children again someday because of how well I get along with children.
My views on Friendship/relationship - I know that a good friend is someone which is trustworthy, caring, helpful, shares and most of all respects you. These 5 points also apply to relationships for a good relationship is built through a good friendship; there must also be a very good level of communication. It's good when you compliment each other and help one another to do what is right and work together as a team. On a different note, I am truly frusterated by many girls. I am kinder than most guys to everyone, and I have also had many bad experiences like many others. Do not judge me because of your bad experiences, if you want to talk I suggest talking to me in person when you are not in a rush.
