Alone

One of my best friends recently made the comment "after all these years,
 I am still alone".

There are many reasons for one to feel alone in this world. Lack of a
companion in life, physical circumstances, illness, being a very important
leader in a community, business, or politics all leave many people feeling
very alone. Many are depressed or have an illness that keeps them from
other people. Far to many people are shunned or outcast by their friends
and people in general due to their looks, their beliefs, their way of life,
the color of their skin, and who knows how many other meaningless reasons.

We make choices everyday of our lives that impact who we are, how we are
perceived, and what our life is really about. This applies to everyone, no
matter who you are, your society, your government or any other circumstance
that surrounds you . There are always those around you who will try to
influence your choices, and in many cases try to keep you from making
choices, but they can not. Why? Because the right to choose is granted by
God and God alone and can not be taken from you by anyone.

What has this to do with my feeling or being alone you ask? God has given
you this ability and right to choose, so that along with your daily decisions,
you are able to make the most important decision and choice of your life -
Whether or not to allow God into your life through your belief and
acceptance by faith of His Son and our Saviour Jesus Christ. God loves
everyone of us very much, but will not force himself on us, rather allow
us to make the choice.

But I can assure you, my friend, that once you have chosen God, you will
never, I repeat never, be alone again.

Jesus tells us:

John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me
alone ; for I do always those things that please him.

John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there
shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will [my] Father honour.

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone , but for them also which shall
believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee,
that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast
sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be
one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and
that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou
hast loved me.

God is watching and waiting right now, with His hand reaching out to take
yours and bring you into His life that you may never be alone again. He will
fill you with the Holy Spirit, guide you, and walk with you through every
part of your life. He will never leave you alone, and He will never allow
you to have more than you can handle.

Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye
shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and
to him that knocketh it shall be opened
Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your
children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit
to them that ask him?

Do you want a life that is full of contentment, peace, and happiness? Do
you want to know that from this day forward you will be filled with love,
friendship, no matter who you are, or where you are?

John 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost , whom the
Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all
things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Then reach up your hand, take the hand of God, and ask Him into your life
through your acceptance of and belief by faith in Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand,
and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that
tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in
our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

I pray that your hand will find and clasp the hand of God that is so very
close to you, and that He will fill your life with the companionship,
contentment and fantastic blessings as He has mine.

God be with you my friend.
