God's Love


There are so many times I feel betrayed.
Ugly and worthless I can't make the grade.
I feel like I'm sinking. I feel so alone.
I'm desperate and helpless and all on my own.

But God in His mercy looked down from above.
He saw what I needed…yes! It was love.

God sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross
To pardon my sin and save me from loss.
He rose from the dead that great Easter morn.
He reached out and touched me and now I'm reborn.

This wonderful Jesus knows just how I feel!
He speaks to my heart! I know He is real!

So now I have Jesus right here in my heart
And He doesn't care if I'm pretty or smart.
He loves me, forgives me, and shows me His ways
And safe He will keep me the rest of my days.
