God's Work - He really does love you.
(Psa 8:1) O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth,
Who have set Your glory above the heavens!
(Psa 8:2) Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength,
Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.
(Psa 8:3) When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the
stars, which You have ordained,
(Psa 8:4) What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that
You visit him?
(Psa 8:5) For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
(Psa 8:6) You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,
(Psa 8:7) All sheep and oxen; Even the beasts of the field,
(Psa 8:8) The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through
the paths of the seas.
(Psa 8:9) O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!
You know, it's up to you. Look around you at any moment in your life. There are
interwoven miracles everywhere you look. How about this one little speck in the
universe we live on that has oxygen and warmth and land and water that are all
that we need to sustain human life. Look at the trees that give back the oxygen
that we breath. Look at the saltwater oceans that give back fresh water rain
to replenish our water. Look at all the forms of life that support each other
so we can have all that we need.
How about all those buildings, bridges, rockets, space stations, MRI
machines, the car you drive, surgical instruments and every other thing that you
can see that took a human mind with the power of thought and decision to make?
Can you honestly and without hesitation come up with the plan that all of this
came from two rocks in an empty void colliding together at just this spot in the
huge vastness of the universe, and then life and all we know and can see evolving
from a cell that just happened because of that accident?
You don't need me to show you the facts, just look around then read what
the Bible has to tell you to find out what it is really all about.
Then when you realize that there is only one way this all
could happen, give the same amount of thought to the fact that the very God
which provided you with everything you have through love and knowledge also loved
you enough to give you His Son so that you could find forgiveness and everlasting
life. He gave us the ability to make decisions and we do pretty good, but we
all mess it up and sin. It's just part of the who and what we are. He knows
that and loves us in spite of it. Look around you, take a ride in your car
and look around at the world around you. Think of all the marvelous things your
seeing on tv, then look to the one who provides this and so much more simply
because He loves you.
Heavens a pretty tough place to get into. It requires perfection and that one be
free from sin. God knew that you and I would not be able to make the choices on
this earth to keep us free from sin and have the perfection we would need to get
into heaven when the time came. He loves you so much that He provided you with
a way to become perfect and have your sins taken from you. That way is His son
Jesus Christ. Through His life and death, the sins of each of us that make the
one choice to believe in Him are forgiven and wiped clean and allows us to enter
not only into heaven but to live for eternity. Pay attention, look around you.
Don't keep putting off the decision you have to make today. Don't get in the
position of being before God and hearing Jesus tell Him He doesn't know you.
Do the things we always do when we make big decisions (this is the biggest one
of your life), research, ask questions, read up on it, but do it now. The
evidence is all around you that God created the world. The evidence grows
daily showing more and more events spoke of in the Bible are true and the Jesus
Christ lived and died as we are told. Like everything else, it's your choice.
Look at the facts, see God's incredible love for you all around, let Him flood
you with that love and turn your life around simply by choosing to believe in
Jesus and the joys of salvation.
All God wants is a personal relationship with you. He is holding His hand out
right now reaching for yours and once He has it He will never let go. No man
can come to God except through His Son Jesus. So make your choice and reach up.
God will grab your hand flood you with joy, love and a relationship that no one
can ever take away from you.
May God flood you with His guidance, His love and the joy of His presence.
