My opinion of Arizona is slighly different.
Arizona is a place where I can have the car seat be hot enough to burn
the skin off of my body, yet the storm clouds are rolling in.
I have seen flooding knock down a major bridge, and have fried an egg
on the concrete.
I can play in snow, and come home without a jacket on.
Within driving distance I can go to a different world.
The cactus and desert can become pine trees and snow covered ground,
the lizards turn to squirrels, and the sun hides behind dark clouds.
I have see dust storms that put vision down to zero, and giant "trash
devils" blowing through parking lots. Funnel clouds of candy wrappers and
twigs are something else.
River's can rage, and storms can blow, yet walking a block without
water is a dangerous idea.
Arizona is much like a child, unpredictable, ever changing, and so beautiful,
yet scary.
There is no instuction book that can cover every thing that you may
encounter. |
