PRAYER BEFORE WORSHIP Holy Spirit, fill my heart this day that I may rejoice in your gift of the church. Keep me as a loyal member of your family of believers. Enable my congregation to witness, build, defend and serve in your kingdom. May your Word today move my faith and my heart to action. Amen.

HVL SUNDAY
Today is Huron Valley Lutheran High School Sunday. We welcome the Hawk Chorus and director Principal Dan Schultz. Rev. Mathew Schaewe is our guest speaker this morning. We thank him for his message and pray that the Lord uses it to strengthen our faith. We will have a special door offering after the service for music and other special projects

SPECIAL BRUNCH
We will have a special brunch immeadiatly after the service this morning to welcome HVL students and parents. All members are invited and encouraged to join as well.

IN MEMORIAM
It please the Lord to summon from this vale of tears to himself in heaven the soul of Mr. Wilford Butzky. Funeral services were conducted yesterday/ We pray that the Lord would comfort the survivors with his sure promises of the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and eternal life.

MIDWEEK LENTEN SERVICES
This week we will have the fifth of our midweek Lenten services focusing on the Seven Words from the Cross. Our Sermon theme this week is "A Word of Accomplishment." There will be fellowship after the service with treats provided by the our deacons and ushers. Let's have a nice turnout.

HVL SPRING RUMMAGE SALE
Donations of clean, usable clothing and household items will again be greatly appreciated for our sale. It will be located in the multi-purpose room at HVL. Drop-offs may be made April 3 & 4, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and April 5, 8 a.m.-noon. The sale will be held April 6 & 7, 9 a.m. and April 8, 9 a.m.-noon. HAWK TALK
Did you know that Huron Valley Lutheran High School has been blessed to have Kris Ruth as a teacher since 1999? Mrs. Ruth, a member of Good Shepherd, Novi, teaches English 9, Geography, and Yearbook-Journalism, and also serves as the coach for the Girls Basketball and Girls Volleyball. MLS MUSICAL
Those who haven't already purchased tickets for the MLS Court Street Players' production of OKLAHOMA! this coming weekend (March 31 & April 1-2) can call the MLS Business Office (989-793-1041, ext. 236) for information about ticket availability. The dorrs will open at 6:15 p.m. this coming Friday and Saturday for the 7 p.m. performances, and at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday for the 2:30 p.m. matinee performance.
