Notes for William SMITHERMAN

William is listed in the 1782 & 1785 Fairfax Co. Va census lists.
Either William or his son, Wm. Jr., is listed in the 1816 Maury Co. TN tax
list. William's son Andrew is listed in the 1820 & 1830 Bibb Co. AL census.
Andrew is listed as having been born in NC, circa 1800, while Samuel, his
brother, was born in NC in 1789. So William must have left VA and moved to NC
around 1786-1788.
