Our Worship

We would be glad to have you come and worship with us. You will notice that we have no printed order of worship nor a strict ritual
that we follow. We feel that our praise and worship is based upon God's Word. As you read, you will learn about our
church beliefs and some of our patterns of worship.
Why we...
... Stand to sing
"And the Levites ... stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel, with a very loud voice."
II Chronicles 20:19
"After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people
and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb.
They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb."
Rev 7:9,10 (NIV)

... Clap our hands
"O clap your hands, all peoples; shout to God with the voice of Joy."
Psalm 47:1
... Lift our hands,
"Behold, bless the Lord, all servants of the Lord ... Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord."
Psalm 134:1,2
"I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands."
Psalm 63:4
"I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.
I Timothy 2:8
....We use Musical Instruments
"Praise Him with trumpet sound; praise Him with harp and lyre. Praise Him with timbrel and dancing.
Praise Him with stringed instruments and organs.
Praise Him with loud cymbals ... Let everything that has breath praise the Lord."
Psalm 150:3-6
... Sing and pray in Tongues
"What is the outcome then? I shall pray with the spirit and I shall pray with the mind also; I shall sing with the spirit
and I shall sing with the mind also."
I Corinthians 14:15
... Have speaking in tongues and Interpretation
If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be by two or at the most three, and each in turn, and let one interpret."
I Corinthians 14:27
"Therefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues.
But let all things be done properly and in an orderly manner.
I Corinthians 14:39, 40
... Have Prophecy
"pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophecy ... He that
prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation." I Corinthians 14:1,3
"And let two or three prophets speak ... so that all may learn and all may be exhorted; and the spirit of
prophets are subject to prophets; for God is not a God of confusion but of peace."
I Corinthians 14:29, 31-33
We Believe...

... that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is available for all believers today.
... that there is healing in the name of Jesus. James 5:14-16
... in the bodily resurrection of the saints when Jesus returns for His Church. I Thessalonians 4:16,17
