Beetle Restoration Cost Page
I made an
effort to save all my receipts during the restoration project. Some of the
items have question marks beside them either because I couldn't remember what it
was for, or I couldn't read the writing on the invoice! The spreadsheet
used to track expenses wasn't updated very often so many times I had a hard time
remembering exactly what I'd ordered. Some of the receipts are still in
the body shop in town and some are still in the box in case I need to return
anything. These things will all be added later.
I haven't
figured any prices for body work, paint, or upholstery work. I did all
these things myself and traded labor at the body shop for any work Don did, plus
letting me use his shop. I figure I've got close to 1,000 hours in my
project.
