Following the update on the main page with the addition of the coat of arms, it came to my attention that there are perhaps more than one version. So, I have set up this page for additional pictures of the coat of arms for you the site viewer to send in images and information regarding the different versions of the Pye Family coat of arms. If you have other pictures of the coat of arms or anything you think might be of interest to others in the Pye family use the e-mail button at the bottom to e-mail me.
These first two pictures were sent in by Roger Pye. The information following was also supplied by him but, retyped by me.
The picture on the left was taken on a trip to the Pye's parish church at Much Dewchurch in Herefordshire. It was in the
chapel accredited to the Pye's of Kilpeck.
The picture to the right was taken on a trip to a Pye parish church located in Farringdon, Berkshire. The memorial is to the wife of Henry Pye(1683-1749), Jane Curzon. She married Henry on the 17th of June 1705 in Westminster Abby and died during childbirth on the 15th of March 1706. The baby Nathaniel died one day on March the 16th. The arms depicted are Pye on the left and Curzon on the right. Jane's father was Sir Nathaniel Curzon who might have some link to the
famous Curzon Street in London's select district of Mayfair.
