Walk
like a Highlander
Tall,
confident and strong
Our
teammates are all around us
So
nothing can go wrong
We
love the competition
The
Site Wars are the best
We've
made new friends all over
North,
South, East and West
The
starlights sprinkle their stardust
To
help us on our way
We're
walking in the Spirit
So
there's nothing else to say |

Sir
William Wallace of Elerslie, hero of Scotland and true patriot, his
desire for peace and freedom united the clans, gained the loyalty of
the people, struck fear into his enemies and defied the cruel hand of
an evil, warring and invading King - Edward 'Longshanks' Plantagenet
I of England. Marian Braidfute, the eighteen year old daughter and
heiress of Hugh Braidfute of Lamington. William and Marian never
married as William believed that romance and war did not mix,
however, he did see Marian as much as possible secretly at her home.
Kelpies
appear in the folklore of the Scottish Highlands and legends tell of
them disguising themselves as horses and lurking by the waterside.
They are masters of mischief - luring travellers into hidden places
and leaving them stranded. Somehow this kelpie made it through to
Brigadoon and had lured these highland sweethearts deep into the
surrounding forests.
My
tremendous Brigadoon team spirit saved them. |
