Peach and Almond Crumble

10-12 fresh peaches (or 2 20-oz. cans sliced peaches, drained)
sugar to taste
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. ground almonds
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. raisins

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Quarter fresh peaches or arrange canned, sliced peaches in shallow baking dish;
sprinkle generously with sugar and raisins.  In separate bowl, mix together 
flour, sugar, ground almonds, and butter.  Spread mixture over fruit.

Bake approximately 35 minutes or until lightly browned on top.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
