Kelley's Spaghetti Sauce

1/2 bushel of tomatoes (best if fresh from the garden)
3 pounds of onions
Boil for 3 hours. Run this through a sieve and pour back into large kettle.

Add:
4 hot peppers or 1 1/2 Tablespoon red hot sauce
1 cup vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon basil
1 Tablespoon oregano
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup salt (try 1/8 cup first, taste...if need more, add more)
Boil for 1 full hour.

Add:
4 - 12 ounce cans tomato paste. Bring to a boil and add to jars. (You don't have to cold pack if you jar it while it is still really hot!)
