This is a memorial to all our furry friends that have left us to go to the Rainbow Bridge, where they are waiting for us to join them.

The Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

Tyler Kensington Pence - December 28, 1988 - May 31, 2003

My baby, my friend, my companion
You're gone, but the love is still here.
Your trust and faith in me was unquestioned.
I wish I could have you near

You gave sweet Siamese kisses.
Your paw to my cheek was so dear.
Your purr was a sign of security
How I wish you were still here.

Wait for me for I'll be there soon.
I'll see you again someday, dear.
I can't wait to hold you so close.
And have you purr in my ear.

I'm so glad to have been in your life
We'll be together again by and by
I'll meet you on the Rainbow Bridge
Till then, sweet Tyler, don't cry.

To my beloved Shorty, the first miniature Schnauzer I ever owned. A devoted pet and very special bud who was with me for 14 years. He could never be replaced, but I have Alfie, a miniature schnauzer who helped fill the empty place in my heart.

A memorial to Ashlea Anne. Ashlea was a gorgeous goldfish. She lived from August 1998, til June 1999 (plus however long before I bought her at the pet shop). She was an adorable pet to watch, even though all that fish do is swim around their bowl. She played with her "sister" Audrey Rose, who is surviving still ! We (me and Aud) miss you, Ashes !

A memorial to Baby, Kitty and Little Bit. Baby was indeed, our very first baby, a snowy white American Shorthair with eyes as blue as the sky above. Kitty was his mother, who brought her newborn to out doorstep in the midst of the floods of 1994. She walked into our lives, and our world was changed forever. Little Bit was a beautiful calico from Kitty's second litter. Sadly, she was hit by a car in the rain one night shortly after the birth of her first litter. Somkie, her Abyssinian sister is still with us today, now five years old. Her kitten Molly, is my very dearest friend, who is forever by my side, along with her fourth generation Abby, Sassy. Our cats share a treasured part of our daily lives, entertaining us, providing companionship and love. I love all cats of all breed and character. I hope to create a web site of my own someday. I can be reached at the email address provided. God Bless, and say a prayer for all the cherished animal friends that we all have treasured throughout our lives.

In Loving memory of my very first Persian kitty, Louis Bleu...how can I express how very much I loved him? Louis was like a son to me. I thank god above for giving me fifteen and a half wonderful years with this special friend. Letting him go was so devastating, but we both knew that it was time for him to go to a better place. I knew that he had been trying to continue, only to spare me the inevitable, great pain that I feel today. As I held Louis lovingly in my arms, saying goodbye for the last time, I kissed his precious little head inhaling his sweet scent, and whispered into his velvet ear "It's alright, Louis, I give you permission to leave me, don't be afraid, I will always love you". When the day arrives for me to finally cross the Rainbow Bridge, I will be flying at top speed to greet the kitty that stole my heart, my beautiful Louis Bleu. July 15, 1984 - February 23, 2000

Otis was a beautiful, white and beige kitten who stole my heart. Three weeks after he was born he was sadly hit by a car that night. In the morning when I found that he had been hit, I held him in my arms and kissed his sweet and gentle little head as I said, " Don't be afraid, I will be there soon, you know I love you with all my heart, Goodbye Little Friend." I wanted him to know that I loved him more than anything else n the world, and I wanted me to be the last person he saw before he left me and went to see all of his other little friends. I know my kitty loves me and I love him. There is a empty spot where he left me, but it will be filled in when I will be able to see him. His mom ,who is still living, misses him very much. His mother and I miss him very much. We love you, Otis. We Love You. Good bye, Otis.

This darling little blue-point girl was from a litter of 8 and was the leader of the gang. She and one of her brothers succumbed to a terrible coccidia virus which put them in emergency care for two days. They both fought to continue living and were glad to see us when we went to visit them. I took them home on Monday 6/26, happily knowing that they made it thru the worst of times. The little boy we call Cherub went on his way eating and getting better, she did not. I tube fed her to encourage her to eat, then found her dead an hour and 1/2 later. I can't remember crying so hard at someone's death. She's buried in a beautiful angel box and is waiting in heaven for me and the rest of her litter. She was only 4 weeks old. I will always miss this very special kitten who fought so hard.

Madison was a gorgeous blue and white, bi-colored Persian. Maddie died at the VERY young age of 3 years. He died of an unforgivable disease of feline leukemia. He was vaccinated throughout his life, but was apparently born with it. He was the most beautiful Persian I have ever seen, with a personality to match. Never have I had the pleasure of knowing such an intelligent feline! His loss is the hardest I've ever had to cope with and he will be missed and loved forever. Thanks "Boo", for packing so much life in too short years.
