Richard Henry BINNEY and Mary PERKINS


Richard and Mary married on 16 July 1888 at Carlton in Victoria.
Richard was born in Reedbeds, South Australia in 1856 to Richard BINNEY and his wife, Jane TOUT.
Mary was born on 30 October 1863 at Lillerie Station, in Victoria, to John Nicholas PERKINS and Mary HAROLD.

Richard and Mary had five children:

Jeannie Irvine BINNEY born in November 1888 at Ascot Vale. There has been no further research done on Jeannie, except to say that she died after 1941.

John Harold BINNEY and Richard Henry BINNEY were born on 21 January 1890 at Kensington, John was the first twin, the second one being Richard, who later married Kathleen Fahey PERRIAM.

Margaret Florence Elizabeth BINNEY and Herbert Alex BINNEY were born in 1882 at Ken Hill, no further research has been done on Margaret or Herbert.

Mary PERKINS was a dressmaker and made most of the children's clothes. She died in 1918 and is buried at the Coburg Cemetery. Richard died in 1941 of Chronic Myocarditis and is also buried at Coburg Cemetery.
