John Graham Campbell McTAVISH and Helen Isabella REID............

were married at Horsham in Victoria on 11 October 1871. John being the son Donald McTAVISH, the name of Johns mother is not known at this time. Helen is the daughter of William REID and Mary McLEOD. Both John and Helen were born in Scotland.

After their marriage, John and Helen had 10 children:

Jane Christina who was born at Dimboola in 1871 and died at the age of 18 years.

Wilford was born in 1873, then Etheline who was born at Natimuk in 1876. She later married Henrich Trangott KIEFEL.

Louisa McTAVISH was born in 1878 and in 1905 married Neil Campbell FERGUSON.

John Colin William McTAVISH was born on 27 April in 1880 and married Mary Jane ROBERTS at Lah Arum in 1910.

James born in 1882 died in 1940.

Colina Janet (born in 1884) married Henry AGNEW in 1906.

Donald Albert McTAVISH, their eighth child, was born at Burnt Creek on March 24 1886, he married a cousin by the name of Mabel Grace McTAVISH at Horsham in 1919.

Harold was born in 1888 and later married Olive McDONALD.

Edith May was born at Horsham in 1891 and married Joseph William SWAN in 1921.

John Graham Campbell McTAVISH who was born in Scotland in 1843, died at Horsham in 1828 of cardiac failure and senility. His wife Helen, died on June 1st 1930 of Colorectal Cancer.

Both are buried at the Horsham Cemetery.
