Subject: Home safe!

Dear friends and family,
I am home from Alaska and I didn't even see a bear, except a stuffed one at the airport. My daddy bought me a stuffed husky dog which my nanny has named Balto. I hugged it on the airplane on the way home when I wasn't eating pretzels.
The trip gave me a good opportunity to say no and so I learned it well and even use it at the right times now. We watched salmon spawning and I said bye bye to the fish when we left. Now I have a book about salmon.
I am a mountain girl and did a lot of my own hiking. I also climbed every set of stairs in Alaska, and many of them twice. I also slept in a big girl's twin bed.
If you were here I would say down to get put down and then march off on my own and turn to you and say bye bye. If you caught me I would giggle and clap.
Love
Emily
