About the SD GenWeb Project
Welcome to the South Dakota GenWeb Project. The project was started in June of 1996 when a group of genealogists got together to create a single contact point for all counties in South Dakota where all collected databases would be indexed, cross-linked and stored. Resulting in an index of South Dakotans from any county in the state. If you were living in more than one county, you could still be found in South Dakota.
One individual (from each county in the state ) was found who was willing to coordinate the collection of genealogical databases and generally oversee the contents of the web page.
This Lyman County page is being maintained by me, barbara speck , Lyman County resident. Until I get all of the tricks of this trade figured out, you may have to click my link (name in blue) and email me your request, comments or suggestions to improve my pages. I need all the help I can get!
