WHAT IS FCA?
Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a national non-profit ministry that uses sports to teach youth about faith in God. FCA has been in existence for over 40 years with thousands of coaches and youth attending "huddles" and sports camps throughout the year. Pro athletes from all sports have been touched or influenced by FCA. They in turn help FCA as instructors during our summer sports camps. To find out more about FCA go to FCA's Home Page
WHAT IS TEAM FCA?
TEAM FCA is a 
..which
is officially sanctioned by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The purpose
of this team is to manage and run the TEAM FCA Paintball Program
which uses paintball to work with youth. TEAM FCA takes groups
of kids out for paintball and works with them to teach them leadership,
teamwork, fair play and about faith in Jesus Christ. TEAM FCA has
been running this unique program for over 5 years and has seen over 2000
young adults go through the program. When the team is not working with
youth, we play in tournaments to share with other paintball teams about
our unique ministry. Often we will have a booth set up at a tournament
with our popular "free" camo Bibles, and info about FCA. Most
tournaments we sponsor a prayer breakfast on Sunday's with a special guest
speaker. TEAM FCA Youth Program is sponsored by some wonderful companies. All
of our sponsors help our youth program not TEAM FCA members.
Through our sponsors help we have been able to make the cost of paintball
for the kids lower than normal. We especially want to thank our home field-

What is Paintball?
Paintball is
a basically capture the flag with two teams (often dressed in camo to help
hide themselves better) much like the game you played as a kid. Paintball
is played on a field with two flag stations. Each team starts at their
flag station and for a duration of 20 minutes must try to get the to other
teams station, take their flag and hang it back on the home station. To
help achieve this objective teams shoot paintballs from air-powered markers.
If a player is hit by a paintball (gelatin ball filled with water soluble
paint) they are eliminated and must leave the field until the next game
starts. Paintball is a large sport, played by millions in countries all
over the world.
Paintball markers come in many shapes and sizes (pumps, semi-automatics) but all are air-powered (CO2 or Nitrogen/Compressed Air)
