Here are a couple of picshurs of my bruvver Ritz. Okay - he's not really my bruvver - but he lived wif us for 2 years.

Mr. Ritz - Age approximately 5 years - went to Rainbow Bridge August 17, 1998

Ritz was a kitty who chose meowmie. He crawled into hur hous and collapsed on da floor one hot summer day. He weighed less than 5 pounds and was furry de-high-dratted. Meowmie tuk him tu da vet who said Ritz was 3 years old and would have been dead later that day if he hadn't insisted on claiming meowmie. Ritz was declawed and apparently dumped in the apartment complex. We don't know how long he wandered befor he found our place.

Ritz was a very loving kitty who wanted only to sit on a hoomin's lap, sleep on a hoomins chest (head, Arm, neck). If no hoomin was available he slept by me. He was a furry vocal kitty. I always knew when somfing gud was gonna be served cause he announced (ordered) it.

Ritz had been sick fur 4 weeks. He was gradually losing weight even though the TED couldn't figgur out why. Meowmie knew he wuz gonna leave us prior to Monday. He got extra smurgles and love offur da weekend. She spent most of Monday at home wif him befur taking him to the TED. Since he hated the cat carrier - meowmie carried him in on a blanket and sat wif him till it was time fur him to leave us.

We think of him often. Meowmie and I will alway miss Mr. Ritz.
